About
The Redditch United Football Academy is a performance football programme offering students the opportunity to develop their skills alongside education within one of the regions best football facilities.

The programme offers scholars the opportunity to develop their football skills alongside nationally recognised qualifications at College and University level providing unique employment opportunities to open a variety of career paths within football and sport.

BTEC Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Sport
Students develop their skills through theory and practical sessions, group and personal tutorials.  The classes are focused around football however these skills can be then transferred through into the majority of other sports.

Higher National Diploma Sport: Coaching and Sports Development
This course allows you to work towards a Higher Education qualification at HNC Level 4 in your first year and HND Level 5 in your second year of study.  Looking into the coaching of many sports. (STARTING SEPTEMBER 2018)

This leading programme will provide the unique opportunity of being educated and coached at Redditch United’s Trico Stadium which is a short 5 min walk from Redditch train station. Following a £900,000 refurbishment the Trico now holds its own classrooms for education and scholars will be able to train and compete as RUFC players on the new first team 3G playing surface.
