The Reserves got back to winning ways with an emphatic 6-3 victory over Cadbury Athletic Reserves, with spectacular strikes from Callum Hall and Fin Gaynor sealing the big win at the TRICO Stadium.

The Reds welcomed Cadbury Athletic, for their 3rd fixture of the season, looking to overturn the two previous defeats suffered earlier in the campaign. They got off to the perfect start in the 7th minute, when first team man Callum Hall crashed an unstoppable shot from 25 yards out into the back of the net, leaving the keeper standing with no chance!

The Reds went from strength to strength, and doubled their lead in the 15th minute, when Ciccio Acheampong added another goal to his impressive tally this season.

With the Reds 2-0 up, the visitors eventually grew into the game and began fashioning chances of their own, however were unable to bounce back before the half time whistle.

The Reds began the second half perfectly, with Fin Gaynor making it 3-0 in the 48th minute, firing a spectacular free kick from 35 yards out straight into the top corner!

They did not stop there, adding their fourth and fifth in the 60th and 62nd, with substitute Liam Harding getting in on the act and debutant Christian Isichei also bagging a goal.

However, Cadbury refused to fall, and fought back to score in the 72nd and 87th minute, making it 5-2 and taking the shine off the Reserves otherwise spectacular performance.

Liam Harding refused to allow the match to end on a negative for the Reds however, and bagged his brace moments before the final whistle!

A fantastic performance overall from the Reds, who face Cadbury Athletic Reserves again next weekend, this time away from home, where they will be determined to have a repeat performance.
