The Reserves suffered a 8-2 defeat under extreme weather conditions which made for a miserable day for the Reds.

The home side settled into the game a lot quicker, creating numerous chances in quick succession, and eventually broke the deadlock to make it 1-0.

The Uttoxeter barrage continued, and they added 3 more before going into half time 4-0 up.

The Reds showed improvements early on in the second half, exploiting the channels and the pace in their armoury.

Despite their improvements, the Reds fell further behind, after Uttoxeter added more goals to make it 4-0. However, the Reds continued to persevere and added one back, through Mo Konteh, who lifted the ball over the keeper from range.

The game continued in similar fashion, with the home side adding more goals to pile on the misery for the Reds. Daniel MacDonald-Taylor managed to find some light in the darkness for the Reds, adding another goal after a powerful run into the box.

A challenging opposition and challenging weather conditions for the Reds, who will look to move on into next year with a fresh start.
