The Reserves returned to league action at home to face Worcester City Reserves.
The Reds started very positively, and were rewarded for their good performance in the 27th minute, when Liam Harding got behind his marker to slot a fine finish into the far post to make it 1-0.
Worcester City enjoyed the majority of the possession, but the Reds were able to nullify any threat they posed for the remainder of the first half.
The second half started in similar fashion to the first, with the visitors possessing most of the ball. The Reds were able to withstand the pressure until the 65th minute, when the visitors equalised to make it 1-1. Worcester City continued to pressurise and took the lead in the 80th minute, and then added another one in the 90th minute, with the game finishing 3-1
A very good performance from the Reserves, which deserved so much more. The Reds will be hoping to keep their improved form going and take it into next weeks fixture vs Fairfield Villa.
