The Reserves suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat at the hands of Coton Green Reserves on a day to forget.

The Reds hosted Coton Green, looking to bounce back from last weeks poor performance.

They got off to a disastrous start though, going 1-0 down in the 3rd minute. However, the Reds grew back into the game and were largely the better team, creating various chances. However, the poor finishing carried on from yesterday evenings U18’s game, and they were unable to equalise, going into half time 1-0 down.

The visitors were the quickest out the blocks in the second half, and regained the lead in the 60th minute, and added their third in the 75th minute, adding the Reds’ misery.

Coton Green continued to heap pain upon the Reds, adding their 4th and 5th in the 80th and 81st minute respectively. 5-0

A poor day for the Reserves, who have suffered two heavy defeats in as many weeks. They travel away to Uttoxeter Town Reserves, looking to turn around this poor run of form.
