Despite the early setback, the Reds grew into the game the more it went on, and finally made their performances count in the 35th minute, when on fire forward Mo Konteh struck back for the Reds, and took them into half time with their tails up.
With the momentum all with the Reds, they continued to play at high intensity, with the opposition also having their fair share of chances, it made for an end to end second half. Despite largely having the upper hand in the 2nd half, the Reds were reduced to 10 men for the remaining 15 minutes, and were looking to purely survive to grab a point.
In the dying embers of the game, the Reds showed amazing discipline, and took their opportunity to counter attack, when Mo Konteh broke and finished in textbook Konteh fashion, cutting inside and blasting into the near corner. 2-1!
Moments later, the Reds broke again, this time with Randane Larmond breaking and putting the ball into the far corner, to see the Reds to an extremely deserved 3 points!
An incredible performance from the Reds, showing excellent discipline when down to 10 men, and clinical finishing when the chances were up for grabs.
